My First Application on ColdFusion MX Server - Virtual Directory Properties

If you right click the virtual directory, TestingCF, you can access the properties of the virtual directory. This next one shows the Virtual Directory tab of the virtual directory. TestingCF is also the name of the application. You can read off the local path of the file as well as the starting point of the application.

Next we look at the tab Directory, as seen in the next picture. In addition to htm and asp, the cfm file extension is also allowed. Although it is the last in the list for the enabled default document, it can be pushed up using the arrow alongside. Making it first in the list is not essential; IIS starts looking for the file type from the start of this list. The other tabs are also important, but all defaults have been accepted. For directory security, anonymous logon has been accepted.
