    Netscape 7 Pre-Release 1: Quick Look

Netscape has just introduced the brand spanking new version 7 (Pre release) of their web browser. In this article Steve takes a quick look at it and sums up his likes and dislikes. The name "Netscape" has been synonymous with the web for over a decade now. The Netscape Navigator web browser, although loosing out in popularity to Microsoft's Internet Explorer browser, has grown in terms of features and uptake in the last decade as well.

Netscape, in its pursuit to secure more browser market share, has introduced the brand spanking new version 7 (Pre-release) of their web browser. In this article I'm going to take a look at this preview. This article is by no means meant to judge the final release of the browser, and all comments are my opinions only.

This review focuses strictly on the Netscape browser itself, not the accompanying e-mail application or Java console.
