Netscape 7 Pre-Release 1: Quick Look - Conclusion
(Page 3 of 3 )

In totality, Netscape 7 provides several advancements in virtually every aspect of the browser other than the most important, web site renderings. I was especially disappointed with Netscape's continued sloppy rendering of some tables and especially CSS implementations.

This is only pre-release 1. I can only hope CSS is better improved upon before the final release of the new version. Netscape 7 still leaves something to be desired.

Netscape 7 Pre-Release 1 grade: C (A being the best)
Improvement over Version 6: 2 (5 being the best)

The final release of Netscape 7 is estimated for the summer of 2002.
