And at long last we come to the last of our events, the OnUnLoad event. This tricky devil is triggered when the user (God forbid) leaves your worthless page. Get used to using this one; something tells me you're gonna need it.
The above code triggers when the user closes the page, forcing a pop-up alert that says: Get back here you coward!
We could probably make an OnUnLoad script that would force a redirect back to our page, but that wouldn’t be very nice would it? Muahaha.
Well, that wraps it up for this series. We’ve learned all about JavaScript events. I’ll be writing more JavaScript tutorials (and tutorials on a bazillion other languages as well) so be sure to check in often for them.
