Attributes are a very simple, yet powerful part of the .NET framework. In this article, we discussed what attributes are, and the steps for creating them.
Once we had a foundation in creating attributes, we designed custom attributes allowing developers to describe the usability of their code, created a framework for managing objects within a database, and provided a method allowing developers to mark sections of code that changed as a result of a bug fix.
