Security is an issue that arises in all sectors of the IT industry. It becomes critical when you get to the level of creating large e-commerce web-sites which involves the user entering their personal information. A client must feel safe and have faith in the security of the website if they are to enter personal information such as their credit card number. For this reason, every site which involves interaction with a database must consider the risks and program in a careful manner using authentication methods as demonstrated in this article.
