Managing Multi-page Articles with Content linking Component - Conclusion
(Page 3 of 3 )

Managing multi-page articles with the Content Linking component is a simple but an efficient task. You can enhance the method shown by collecting the pages of articles in separate directories pages001, page002 and so on and by using corresponding Content Linking List file toc001.txt, toc002.txt and so on.

You can then request for the article.asp file with an appended query string like: article.asp?art=001 to show a specific article In the article.asp file you must catch the value of the query string variable asp and use it to build the name of the corresponding Content Linking List file. And of course you can integrate all these in a database driven web application.
