From PSD to HTML

This tutorial puts a little spin on the entire PSD to HTML format in that it shows you how to take your design, slice it up, and turn it into a highly usable web interface via CSS and HTML.  It begins with CSS and HTML visualization and then shifts into slicing the interface.  You are then shown the steps needed to set the foundation.  Next, you will learn how to build the header, portfolio menu, and content area.  Last, but not least, are the instructions on creating panels.  Once you are finished, you will have learned some basic skills that can help you in the future, such as how to separate the layout from styles, how to block out the layout via div tags, how to hold your sections using wrappers, and the creation of menus through lists.

Turn your PSD into a solid HTML email

There are plenty of tutorials floating around that deal with PSD to HTML conversion when it comes to website creation, but what about email?  What if you want to send impressive HTML newsletters to your list of email contacts?  This tutorial describes the process, and it does it in a manner that takes compatibility issues into account.  After all, you don't want to send an email that will not render correctly in certain email clients, as the desired effect will be lost.

The tutorial's example focuses on a Photoshop document of a newsletter design that needs to be converted to HTML for emailing.  Old fashioned HTML tables are employed to ensure compatibility across most email clients.
